We live in the age of pluralism: the age of multiple belief systems. The citizens of any average American city represent the spectrum of religions: Judaism , Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, the religion of the Native Americans, Wiccans, Atheism, Scientology, as well as hybrids of the above. It’s crucial that we as Christians and as Episcopalians know who we are and the foundations of our faith.  On this day we will explore the non-negotiable essentials of our faith. The primary focus will be the Nicene and Apostle Creeds. We will seek a greater understanding of such fundamental concepts as the Trinity, the Incarnation, Salvation, the Paschal mystery of dying and rising, the Second Coming, and the Holy Spirit. The format will be presentation and discussion. If you use a journal, please bring it as there will be time for private reflection

This is an opportunity for people in the eastern part of the Diocese to gather, to listen, to reflect and to get to know others in neighboring Episcopal Churches. 

The day begins at 9:30 AM with registration and the program goes from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Cost: $20.00 which includes materials, lunch and refreshments.  $15.00 you register with another person.  Bring a friend and enjoy a day with Bishop Taylor.
