This workshop is designed for laypeople NOT CONSIDERING ORDINATION. Discernment is a life-long process of prayerfully seeking God’s guidance in how we make choices and decisions in our daily lives. This workshop will provide some practical ways to practice discernment.

We will look together at the importance of prayer and listening in discernment; how to hear God and what God is saying; and engage in exercises that will help us to learn how to practice discernment in our daily lives.            


Facilitators:  Ms. Diane Russell,  The Rev. Charlotte D. Cleghorn, Melissa Eggers, and The Rev. Posy Jackson

This workshop will be a combination of experiential exercises, teaching, and conversation.  Lay and clergy will help to facilitate the workshops throughout the Diocese.


Three Workshops will be offered during the winter of 2008.
