About Us
Up one levelThe Centers for Christian Studies, based at the Cathedral of All Souls, is the response to Bishop Porter Taylor’s call for opportunities for the laity and clergy of the diocese to discover who they are as Episcopalians and Anglicans, to discern their gifts to respond to Christ’s calling to live our their Baptismal Covenant, and to deepen in their faith and spirituality. The (s) in Center indicates that this is a diocesan-wide project and the offerings will go to the people of the diocese rather than requiring people to always come to Asheville. - The Executive Director of the Centers is the Rev. Charlotte D. Cleghorn, former interim at St. James, Hendersonville and Holy Family, Mills River. The Venerable Eugenia Dowdeswell, Archdeacon of the Diocese is assisting in running of the Centers.
